Aku sebenarnya..

::Aku sebenarnya terasa bulan january ni mungkin bulan yang paling busy bagi aku tapi bagus dan Alhamdulillah sebab rezeki tak putus2 walaupun banyak dugaan yg buat aku terasa nak bunuh client tapi takleh sebab nanti aku masuk jail pastu kene hukum gantung pastu tak sempat tobat sesia je hidup ini.

::Aku sebenarnya sangat sakit jiwa dengan laptop aku yg telah bunuh diri dan desktop BARU aku bikin hal dan alasan technician kata reason desktop baru aku buat hal adelah sebab skru motherboard tak betul dan men-shortkan system therefore kene reformat pc. Kau ingat sebab aku pompuan aku tak reti pasal hardware ke? bodoh ke ape? it scores to be a geek.

::Aku sebenarnya rindu sangat-sangat nak pegi jamming tapi mcm mana nak pujuk suami aku utk bagi aku pergi jamming? nak bawak dia sekali dia mmg tak mau..nak bg aku pergi seorang dia lagi takmau. aku sedih dan sedih jer la..

A little update on the works i've been working on...

These are designs done for my cousin's wedding. She wanted a cartoony western style of the bride n groom. So i went for the fairy tale basics :)

Ok this is and old one..i can't remember if i've put it up before.. I had fun doing this..was abit koi inspired.... (and no.. not 'coy'..)

This is for a Korean co. based in M'sia called Business Soul Global...(if you ask my opinion..calling it 'bs' for short is NOT a good idea..but oh well ^^; ) SO i can't do simple logo's! i hate simple logos..they're boring!

Flier design for one of the product services that bs global offers..he wanted something fun and fresh..i think i was thinking about oranges when i did this one :D

Kenapa kau? Kau? kau?!

Ok this is a brief entry which is more like a rant entry sebab aku agak kecewa dgn attitude org yg berbusiness sama aku ni ha.. Apa lagi kalau bukan hal client2 yg memberi harapan setinggi gunung everest tapi habuk pun tarak.. Nak marah lebey pun tak gune tapi dia sebagai businessmen should have the balls to tell me that dia tak jadi nak amek design aku mahupun berprinting sama aku. Ini aku talifon utk feedback tak jawab... email pun tak jawab padahal sebuk suruh aku buat keje laju2 dan kononnye nak print sepantas yg mungkin. In the end senyap mcm tu aje..

argghh i know i shouldn't be sulking like this sebab dah banyak kali da kot jadi mcm ni. But at least yg lain tu bile kata tak jadi depa ckp..ini org senyap gitu je sungguh tak professional! Nasib baik la hasil kerja aku masih di tgn ku dan contoh design yg dekat dia hanya gambar kecik dan bertampalan watermark sebesar alam. Benci sajos! Sekian.

Rumah baruuu~~~~~

As of today i have un-officially moved to our new home in kota damansara ( suke la bapak aku rumah dekat giler ) Last weekend mcm org gila pindah brg, cuci rumah baru then cuci rumah tunang ku. Sampai tak larat nak celeb merdeka lak tu! This week tunggu masuk phone line for streamyx then by friday new furniture utk living room and bed room. Best betul semua baru2 utk hari raya ni. Lepas nikah lepak umah mak a few days then buleh la duk kat umah baru :D Hari ni kucing aku buat keje gile, dia pegi terjun dekat wet kitchen jatuh atas zink rumah org bwh..(nasib baik rumah aku 1 tingkat atas je)
But overall i'm quite happy with my 'soon to be' new home and hope it'll be a happy one :)

Just my luck..

wah.. mcm2 lak dugaan time dekat2 nak kawen nih.. even though banyak yg dah mcm settle tapi duit tak pernah settle.. rasa mcm kekurangan wang dan harus ku carik lah di mana2 (bukak buku hutang......carik balikkkk...) Alhamdullilah la ..thank you pada yg sudi bayar hutang. Pada yg tak dpt aku detect tu... kesian la aku woi! aku nak kawen woi! Pada yg bertahun giler babas dahulu kala tu..(termasuk ex2 boyfriend..) TERPAKSA la aku halalkan sebab aku malas nak jumpe korang dah.. aku tolong ikhlas bai.. Mungkin la sbb dah bertahun lama nya.. diorang pun dah lupa..(ke buat2 lupa? hehe)
Anywayyyyy..tunang aku alhamdullilah dah boleh berjalan.. tapi aku rasa nikah nanti dia still kene duduk atas kerusi sebab dia takleh duk bersile.. baju nikah aku lakkkkk lambat 2 minggu.. boleh diorang kata since tunang aku accident diorang ingat tarikh nikah di tunda..so diorang leh la tunda buat baju aku? boleh tak inform aku dulu? sabarrrrrr aje laaaaaaaaaaaa kan.. tak kisah laaa tarikh tunda ke ape.. janji siap tarikh tu buat aje laaaaaaa sakit hati aku! Tapi takpe.. nasib baik aku hantar awal2.. cube kalau aku hantar last minit then diorang buat camnie.. mmg aku hotness lah kan.. aku masih mampu bersabar..
Tgh pening ngan guest list pulak ni.. kejap 500 kejap 700 kejap 600.. yang mana satuuuu weiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii aku pening laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Harap dpt lah settle cepat sket.. takde la aku terkurang card kawen atau terlebih card kawennnnnn bikin rugi u knowwww..ngan door gifts lagi.. bikin rugiiii okkkkkkkkkkkkk harap2 aku dpt settle kan bende ni secepat mungkin.
Hah pastu hal carpet lakkkk tetibe kene byr lakkkkkkk tetibe bukan dlm package sewa dewan lakkkkkk.. sedap2 aje tak bgtau cam cipan betul kan? Tulis laaa dlm package tu dol! Bengong punya org.
Hahahaha lagi satu hal.... di sebabkan wabak h1n1 ni... mungkinkah semua kene pakai mask? atau kene scan setiap tetamu ngan thermometer? Aku rasa baik aku suruh depa scan.. sebab nanti kalau pakai mask satu hal lak nak makan nanti kene bukak.. doesn't depict the purpose of bringing 1 right? then kalau amek gamba buruk tul la mcm semua nak buat operation lak nanti. Then kalau aku yg kene bekalkan mask.. adoii duit lagi.. 1 kotak ade 50 helai.. 1 kotam RM40.. kalau tetamu dah 700.. brapa pulakkkk aku kene bwk kuar utk mask?! Nononono.. better go with the thermometer idea..biar la lambat skit org masuk janji semua selamat dan aku pun sep skit kekeke.
Hahahaha so far here are my disaster updates...aku masih lagi dpt mengawal diri.. aku cool..aku cool..aku cool!! (tekanan sket jer..) Nanti aku update la lagi yer :)

Yasmin Ahmad.. AL-Fatihah

Al-Fatihah to Yasmin Ahmad...one of Malaysia's most sort after film makers.. ( to me anyway..)
I loved all her works.. be it controversial by some or insignificant by others. The little things do matter and that's how she's always made her movies. Many will try to fit her shoes but nobody can catch the essence of our beloved country as she does eventhough they seem like nothing special. May Allah S.W.T bless your soul. Truly you'll be missed..like a little gem..small yet precious.

Read something in the news..

KUALA LUMPUR, July 21, 2009 (AFP) - - A religious court in Malaysia has sentenced a tearful Singaporean Muslim model to six strokes of the cane after she drank beer in a nightclub, reports said Tuesday.

Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno, 32, pleaded guilty to consuming alcohol at a hotel nightclub in the eastern state of Pahang last year, the New Straits Times newspaper reported.

"We feel the sentence is fair after going through the prosecution's argument and since the rotan (cane) is provided for in the law," Pahang Sharia High Court judge Abdul Rahman Yunus said, according to the paper.

"The rotan is aimed at making the accused repent and serves as a lesson to Muslims," he added, also fining Kartika 5,000 ringgit (1,412 dollars).

The model, who cried when the judgement was delivered, said she would appeal.

State religious officials could not be reached for comment on the case.

Malaysia, which has large Indian and Chinese minorities freely enjoying alcohol, has a two-track legal system. Civil courts operate alongside state-based sharia courts, which can try Muslims for religious offences.

Gloomy says: Great! so what about the MALAYSIAN MUSLIMS who still drink freely? I'm sorry to say that i find this bit of news rather amusing...

Feeling all girly inside.

Ok... maybe this post would appeal more to all u gals out there. Hari ni aku nak buat blog feature of tempat2 yg aku dok ushar2 sempena persiapan utk nak kawen ni. (hohoho jantan2 semua suda lari ka?) Eiii jgn lari.. mana tau leh tunjuk2 kat bakal bini lu. Alright lets get to it. Earlier on, for my wedding preparation aku dah target org nak buat hantaran..org nak buat make up.. org nak buat pelamin and hall deco... tapi semua target aku tak tercapai~! Atas beberapa mala petaka lah. Utk hantaran, i initialy wanted to hire Sher. Aku sgt suke style dia.. simple tapi ade a touch of uniqueness. Plus dia ade dulang hitam yg aku sgt jatuh hati~~ T_T..tapi ape kan daya.. schedule dia tidak mengizinkan. Mula2 dia kata dia rasa dia boleh try nak selitkan aku..tapi lepas tu takde contact dah.. aku pun tak mengharapkan sgt sbb rasa agak serba salah kalau aku nak paksa sebab she'll be busy with adik dia punye majlis on the same date as mine. So i left it as that..it wasn't meant to be.

Then i wanted to ask Eleena Lamat to be my make-up artist hasil tangan dia menyenang kan aku sebab more to natural style. Sgt suke hokey! Tetapi.... rates dia suda lari sama saya punya budgetlah! She was so nice and graciously accepted my appology for canceling to go on with her. Kecewa aku tak dpt berkerja sama dgn dia huhuh.

Aaaa pastu pasal hall deco ngan pelamin lak.. aku mule2 nak amek Arjuna Cipta. Tapi dia pun schedule clash ngan tarikh reception akuuuu T_T sedey akuu~~ Ape leh buat..bukan semua kita nak kita dpt kan...So back tu the 'surfing board' carik la lagi org2 yg buleh bantu aku ni.. I ended hooking up with cik Nazira of ADL wedding planner by chance.. sebenarnye rang her up utk buat pelamin saja tapi rupe2 nye dia wedding planner and most of my hal2 reception will be handled by her. Rates quite reasonable and borak2 ngan dia mcm da kenal lama lak. She's quite pleasent lah...and very oppinionated! Which is good in her line of business of course..gets things done la kan that way. Dalam masa yg sama aku bagi dia rezeki.. dia pun bagi aku rezeki jugak! (tak sesia la aku design business card aku lawa2 :P ) Dia tgk card aku dia berkenan..in the end aku jadi client dia..dia pun jadi client aku..i designed and printed her business card. Ade design brochure jugak tapi tak jadi amek sbb cam mahal dia kata.. takpo laa janji aku dpt jugak rezeki. I will post up my works another time.

So ok..reception punye hal more or less covered... so berbalik pada gubahan hantaran pulak..hari tu surfing punye surfing.. aku terjumpa AZ Gift Baskets! they specialize in making gift baskets la kan.. and also hantaran! Sangat lawa ok! mmg taste yg aku carik..very english style. Aku dah hampir2 nak buat hantaran ngan diorang sbbg aku suke sgt 1 set hantaran tu T_T. Tapi satu hari kakak ipar aku ajak pegi SSF sbb HQ dia sgt dekat ngan rumah abg aku tu. SSF ni ala2 Pottery Barns kat U.S tu.. aku pegi sana mmg leh jadi gile sket sbb brg2 dia semua cantik2!! If you love to go to IKEA for furniture, then you'll love going to SSF for deco's! Tgk sana sini baru aku tau ramai gile org2 yg buat wedding deco ngan hantaran..mmg beli kat sini some of the sutff..patut la lawo. Pegi sana actualy nak beli brg2 mentah aje.. mcm ribbons flowers and stuff..tapi bile dah belek2 brg2 dia..i was tempted tu buy some stuff utk buat hantaran terus! Last2 aku beli laaaaaa bakul laa bekas laa + brg2 mentah tu. In the end aku buat hantaran sendiri..

Cakap pasal business hantaran.. one of my old Uni friends' si hatim pun ade bukak business hal kawen2 ni bersama tunang dia Atiqah.Acttualy Atiqah ni da lama jugak buat bende ni..jadi Hatim ni sebok2 je join sekali tu ekekekek ok laa business pasangan! Tetibe carik aku suruh buat business card..terlambat la dia bagitau aku kalo tak aku buleh la bg business sket kat dia. Takper Hatim aku promo business ko kat sini laaa.. it's called Merisik Gallery! Meh jenguk2 ade jugak bende2 yg lain dari lain yg mungkin aku akan amek jugak dari dia tapi tatau yg mana lagi..hohoho. Sempat jugak aku lepak ngan diorang kat mini wedding exhibition kat amcorp mall minggu lepas. Lepak punye lepak, atiqah suruh aku jenguk make-up artist kat belakang sana.. named Munie Ahmad so aku pegi la jenguk2...ok jugak make up dia nanti aku nak buat appointment sama dia utk buat trial make up..sbb sepanjang exhibition tu aku tak sempat nak singgah..kalau tak, dpt la half price utk trial makeup T_T xper ler.. selain dari Munie Ahmad ni.. aku mungkin akan buat trial makeup dgn cik Hana of "I Do" bridal house. This minah 'ceria2 selalu' ni bila la nak contact aku balik utk re-scheduel our appointment aku pun tatau.. Dia sgt busy dgn pindah rumah and org kawin sana sini. Bila la kak?? bilaaa~~~.

So ok puas aku promo site2 mereka2 ni.. so apa lagi... bg la discount kat aku nanti yek? ekekekeke :P Hope all you future brides out there get some ideas and maybe get to work with them on your great day. Booking awal2! Jangan terlepas mcm aku huhuhuhu.

R.I.P MJ : From hero to zero and hero times 2.

His death has been a bigger epidemic since H1N1. I guess i too grew up listening to his songs (unwillingly admitting) so I'd thought i'd share this very2 long biography of him i got from yahoo.

this pic is definitely 1 of his better pics.

A star since the age of 12 when The Jackson Five registered four No. 1 hits in 1970, Michael Jackson parlayed his remarkable singing and dancing talents into mega-stardom, the likes of which few entertainers have ever known. By the time he released Thriller in 1982, which quickly became the best-selling album in the history of recorded music, Jackson was the biggest pop icon in the world. Yet at the very height of his fame, allegations of child molestation severely damaged his career, sending the "eccentric" performer into an even more reclusive posture than usual. The son of an abusive father who drove him and his brothers mercilessly to their success, he missed out on a normal childhood, forced not only to convey the composure of an adult in his little boy's body as the front man for the popular group, but also to branch out simultaneously as a solo artist. Jackson was more than equal to the task as his stunning accomplishments attested, but what price did he pay for a lifetime in the spotlight? It was not so farfetched that his penchant for surrounding himself with children was an attempt to vicariously experience the joys of a childhood sacrificed at the altar of the recording industry. But even that was subject to intense scrutiny when he was accused of sexual abuse of a child in 1993 and in 2004; the latter resulting in a media circus trial that ended in his acquittal. Regardless of his status – either as a pop icon or alleged child molester – there was no doubt that Jackson was the subject of endless public fascination. On June 25, 2009, his position as a tragic American icon was solidified when, during rehearsals for a series of comeback concerts in the UK, he collapsed and was rushed to an area L.A. hospital, where he was pronounced dead at age 50. The announcement sent shock waves around the world, as fans mourned the one and only King of Pop.

Born on Aug. 29, 1958 in Gary, IN, Jackson was one of nine siblings who joined his four older brothers in the act his father was presenting at various clubs in the Chicago area. When they first auditioned for Berry Gordy's Motown label, he had not yet reached his 10th birthday, but he was already a seasoned professional, displaying some dazzling footwork on James Brown's "I Got the Feeling" that would have made the Godfather of Soul proud. With Gordy's backing, The Jackson Five exploded into the national consciousness with "I Want You Back", "ABC," "The Love You Save" and “I'll Be There" all occupying the top spot on the Billboardchart before 1970 had run its course. Two years later, Michael enjoyed his first solo No. 1 hit with "Ben," from his second album. Chafing at the artistic restraints applied by Gordy, the brothers left Motown for Epic, changed their name and brought out The Jacksons (1976), containing Michael's first published song, "Blues Away". He made his feature debut in "The Wiz" (1978) at age 20, contributing some brilliant dance work in his role as the Scarecrow."

During the filming of "The Wiz," Jackson renewed an old acquaintance with producer Quincy Jones, and their subsequent collaborations would earn him the title he would claim the rest of his life – the 'King of Pop.' They warmed up with Off the Wall (1979), but really scored with their second effort, Thriller (1982), featuring three No. 1 hits ("The Girl Is Mine," "Billie Jean" and "Beat It"). Winner of seven Grammy Awards, it remains the best-selling album in the history of the recording industry and was still selling well over a million copies a year in 1995, 13 years after its release. In association with it, Jackson starred in John Landis' "Thriller" video, considered the best music video ever made. A teaming with Paul McCartney led to another No. 1 single, "Say, Say, Say" (1983), before he co-wrote (with Lionel Ritchie), "We Are the World" (1985), in an effort to raise the world's consciousness about the plight of famine-stricken nations in Africa. Produced by Jones with an all-star cast, it won the Song of the Year Grammy for 1985.

Jackson starred in the 3-D fantasy short, "Captain EO" (1986), a popular film with children shown at Disney's Epcot Center and Disneyland theme park, directed by Francis Ford Coppola and produced by George Lucas. His last album with Jones, Bad (1987), yielded an unprecedented five No. 1 hits, and – as was the case with Thriller – every track was memorable. He released one more successful album, Dangerous (1991), before excessive media attention regarding his alleged misconduct would turn people against him.

In 1993, the singer had his first brush with controversy when he was accused of abusing a 13-year-old boy in his entourage. Having become friends the previous year, Jackson was reportedly a virtual member of the boy’s family. But the child – who first revealed the abuse to his father after being put under the influence of Amytal Sodium (a.k.a. “Truth Serum”) – told a psychiatrist, and later police, that Jackson had molested him. When the news broke, Jackson and his family strongly denied that he was a pedophile, while the King of Pop himself suffered a major blow to his popularity. After becoming dependant on drugs to alleviate the stress, he canceled the remainder of his tour and sought treatment overseas. Upon his return to the United States, Jackson was subjected to a 25-minute strip search after it became known that the boy claimed to be able to describe Jackson’s genitals. Not a definitive match, the description had strong similarities. Through it all, Jackson maintained his innocence in public. Eventually, he settled with the accuser’s family out of court for $22 million, while criminal charges were never filed due to lack of evidence after the boy’s father refused to testify.

The heavily-hyped HIStory (1995) sold poorly, failing to recoup its promotional expenses, and he released Blood on the Dance Floor(1997) with little fanfare. Jackson debuted his controversial "Ghosts" video – a narcissistic defense of himself – in selected U.S. cities on Halloween 1996, but quickly withdrew it, though it surfaced again at Cannes the following May. Despite the negative scrutiny, Jackson and his brothers entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

Always charismatic, Jackson transformed himself during the 1980s into an almost other-worldly icon, fond of wearing one glove, sparkling socks, tape on his fingers and military regalia. But the line between the performer and private man became blurred. Excessive cosmetic surgery to substantially alter his looks, public appearances wearing a surgical mask, and a preference for animals and children over adults earned him a reputation as a “Wacko Jacko.” Even fatherhood and two marriages – including a sort-lived, hard-to-comprehend union with Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie (made even more unpalatable by their unconvincing lip-lock at an MTV awards ceremony) and another one to his doctors' receptionist – have failed to dispel the notion that the singer was a freak, of sorts. To fully remove the tarnish from his crown, the King of Pop needed another hit, and if his excessive wealth had not totally estranged him from reality, then this perfection-obsessed artist might have surely delivered the goods again.

Meanwhile, Jackson released the album Invincible in 2001, which, for all intents and purposes, was a commercial flop. It was heavily promoted by Sony and cost a hefty $30 million to produce. The album spawned one moderate hit, "Butterflies," which was remixed with rapper Eve. In 2002, Jackson accused Sony of racism and said the label failed to adequately promote his album. Sony was shocked, saying they spared no expense in touting the album’s release. The accusations only served to further solidify Jackson's reputation as “out of touch" with reality. The weirdness of Jackson's self-created and possibly sordid world definitively overwhelmed both his prodigious talent and respected career in 2002 and 2003. The singer made headlines around the world after dangling his infant son Prince Michael II – with a blanket obscuring the child's face – over the balcony of his Berlin hotel room, prompting criticism of his unorthodox parenting skills and resurrecting the old allegations of child abuse.

Although he admitted his behavior was a mistake, Jackson swiftly escalated his erratic reputation by shocking fans with his public appearance at a civil trial in Santa Maria, CA. Jackson arrived at the courthouse on crutches and with his nose looking as if it were suffering – indeed, caving in – from an overabundance of plastic surgery. Next, an interview by British journalist Martin Bashir, who was granted unprecedented access to Jackson's private world, aired on "20/20" (ABC, 1978- ) newsmagazine and drew 27.1 million viewers, most of whom were shocked by the portrait of the singer's bizarre lifestyle. Jackson filed a complaint with television watchdog groups and claimed that the interview was edited to cast him in an unfavorable light. He subsequently backed out of a much-promoted "60 Minutes" (CBS, 1968- ) interview, instead offering his own privately crafted rebuttal to Bashir's report on the two-hour Fox special, "Michael Jackson, Take Two: The Interview They Wouldn't Show You."

The furor died down for several months, but the flames were fanned again in November 2003, just as Jackson's greatest hits package Number Ones was about to hit stores. Santa Barbara police descended on his Neverland Ranch to investigate claims that the musician had molested a 12-year-old boy on the premises. Amid a media furor, Jackson, who was filming a music video in Las Vegas, was required to surrender himself to authorities, prompting video images of the singer in handcuffs. Booked on suspicion of child molestation and released on $3 million bail, he subsequently called the allegations as "outrageous" and "false" and hired celebrity lawyer Mark Geragos to defend him. In the wake of his arrest, CBS indefinitely postponed a primetime Jackson network special that had been scheduled for Nov. 26, while devoted fans staged candlelight vigils protesting his innocence. Meanwhile, plans for finding a full-time performing home in Las Vegas evaporated; the Jackson family and celebrity friends such as Elizabeth Taylor publicly rushed to his defense; and doubts about Jackson's accuser, who previously accused others of child abuse – including own his father – began to surface.

Jackson's compilation album, with the ironically titled new single, "One More Chance," debuted to tepid sales in the United States, where his commercial appeal had dimmed considerably. But Jackson still managed to top other music charts in countries around the world where he was still considered a pop superstar. The stage was set for what promised to be the most sensational celebrity court case since the O.J. Simpson trial, and indeed a circus atmosphere prevailed: celebrities including Jay Leno, Chris Tucker and Macaulay Culkin were called to testify, while the not-so-lily-white past of the accuser's family was aired in court. Among the accusations, Jackson was accused of providing his sleepover guests with alcohol he allegedly called "Jesus Juice," as well as pornography. Throughout the entire sordid affair, Jackson made a spectacle of himself by wearing outrageous outfits into court and indulging in impromptu performances for the fans and gawkers who gathered outside the courthouse for a glimpse of the pop star.

Toward the end of the lengthy trial, however, Jackson appeared more and more haggard, allegedly suffering from ill health. Despite all of the sideshow distractions, in June 2005, jurors in the child-molestation trial found Jackson not guilty on all 10 counts against him, although some of the jurors said publicly their decision was based on reasonable doubt and that not all of them believed Jackson was entirely innocent. His attorneys vowed that Jackson would never again allow the children of others into his bed and make himself vulnerable to further accusations. Immediately on the heels of the verdict, the pop star was also reportedly offered a long term residency and $80 million to perform at the planned casino going up next to Trump International Hotel & Tower in Las Vegas.

Despite his acquittal, Jackson was not out of the tabloid woods yet. In 2006, reports of Jackson’s financial woes became more rampant, with the star being forced to close part of his Neverland Ranch in order to save money. Adding further weight to his financial problems, he was forced to take out two substantial loans, including one for $300 million from Sony in exchange for the media company having the option of buying half of Jackson’s stake in their jointly owned publishing company, leaving the pop star with a 25 percent share. After agreeing to joint custody of his children with ex-wife Debbie Rowe, Jackson solidified his financial standing when he bought the rights to songs by Eminem, Beck and others from Viacom in partnership with Sony. Meanwhile, he released Thriller 25 in celebration of that album’s 25th anniversary, which also contained some new cuts and remixes that reached moderate success, including “The Girl is Mine 2008” and “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ 2008.”

Now on the verge of rehabilitating his image, Jackson released a compilation album called King of Pop – though not in the United States – while he was scheduled to perform 50 sold-out concerts at the O2 Arena in London. But the concerts – which would have drawn over one million people – were put on hold when the sudden news broke that Jackson was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on June 25, 2009. According to various news sources, paramedics found him not breathing after a 911 call to his Bel Air home and had gone into cardiac arrest in the ambulance while en route to the UCLA Medical Center. When initial reports came in, an anonymous source close to the family was quoted as saying that the pop star was in “really bad shape.” His father, who was in Las Vegas at the time, soon confirmed that his son was “not doing well.” Within just a few hours, the sad news came that shocked the world – Jackson had died of a heart attack. He was just 50 years old.

A little bit of here and there.

It seems that every time i put up an entry it's always about work.. Make me start to think that the other side of my life is just not interesting enough to talk about. Huhuhuhu mmg tade bende yg baru berlaku kecuali at work..what to do! Duit tgh sengkek..bile duit sengkek tade la aku keluar jln2.. tade la bende menarik berlaku selain kerja! Ckp pasal kerja allhamdullilah i have new clients comming in from unexpected sources..which is kinda uplifting and making me smile all week.

Tak kisah la kalau org dtg utk tanye2 aje ke..ushar2 price ke..janji ppl know about my business and what are my services. Which reminds me, now that i have a few companies whom frequent my services.. i probably need to put a clientel list on Dark Matter punye site baru la org confident nak buat business ngan Dark Matter kan? Maybe next month bile ade duit lebey sket..i'll start to do a little bit of marketing for Dark Matter Design & Services. Start putting out flyers and spamm ppls mailboxes! Muahahahahaha! I know it sounds so un-environmentally friendly, i shall thank those trees that has done justice to this world :) In my last entry i said i'll put up some of the things i've been working on right? well that has to be put on hold as that might take more than 20minutes of my time tu put it up here..

My Ai Kandee Blogshop pun tgh slow sikit.. the next update will be it's last on blogspot cause the shop is going to move to a different net address soon with more inventory!! Insyallah.. Some of my friends asked my why haven't i tried selling the stuff at bazaars? Well I'm still trying to gather my guts to put my stuff out there in the flee markets and bazaars ya know? Tapi nanti laa kot! Still new at this. Ok it's like 4.30 a.m and i think i better sleep abit before going to work today.. till then, keep on rockin' :)

Err....

I was staring blankly at the screen and just couldn't make my mouse move any further. The past few weeks has been kind of a rush. Confirming artwork.. sending out print jobs..picking up big boxes of clients stuff..(agak jahanam la absorber belakang gino ku T_T..) It's fun! to be busy but takes a toll on me after awhile...

Pls don't ask me when am i moving to my office.. my stuff is already there.. but i'm not there! haaahaha well the thing is everybody else that will be sharing the office space haven't moved in yet, so i don't think i wanna be alone at my corner listening to cengkerik all day. Bila ntah diorang nak masuk aku pon tatau ler.

I'm not too happy with some of my design jobs laltely cause they look kinda plain and boring but oh well..work is work...you can't put 'creativity' in everything i suppose. I'll put up some of my recent work soon..oh! and maybe pictures of my soon to be office ;)
Till then,

Rock on!

Reminiscing my reverie

I was going through some old entry's of my old blog (Freak in the big city) and found this scribbling i wrote years ago. Not knowing that it means so much more today than it was meant to be during those days. Thought I'd share with you guys to ponder upon ;)

The Pretender - by Me

I lost a friend today
It's something i must accept
You're not dead, you're just gone
A friendship that can never be real

The fake...the opportunist...the pretender
Believed in you, forsaken them
Not reading between the lines
Not seen the monster in disguise

I lost a friend today
Lost the trust, lost the you
Why it took this long to see
That the fake...the pretender....was me?

When the buying stops..The killing will too!!

Bernama - Wednesday, January 7

KUALA LUMPUR, 6 Jan (Bernama) -- The Muslim Consumers Association Malaysia (PPIM) will launch a nationwide campaign urging Malaysians to boycott products made by Jewish companies following Israel's military invasion of Gaza.

Its secretary-general Datuk Dr Ma'mor Osman said the campaign would kick off at the National Mosque this Friday.

He said the boycott campaign would be carried out with several other non-governmental organisations such as the Malaysian Chinese Muslim Association, Ummah Consultative Council (Pewaris), Muslim Restaurant Operators Association Malaysia (Presma) and Interactive Muslimah Association (Iman).

"This campaign is organised to protest against the injustice and atrocities committed by Israel and supported by its allies. Malaysians, especially Muslim consumers, should support this campaign," he told reporters, here, today.

He said Israel must be told that its action was abhored as its military assault on Gaza had killed more than 500 Palestinians and injured hundreds more.

Dr Ma'mor said in the campaign, PPIM would also urge the Halal Industry Development Corporation (HDC) to withdraw the halal certificates issued to Jewish-owned companies.

"This is because the revenue earned from these products are used to make bombs and other weapons to attack Muslim states."

He said by using their power, consumers could weaken the economy of the these companies and send a clear message to Israel and its ally, the United States, not to victimise the Palestinians.

"This way, we can also increase the production and consumption of local products," he added.

Starting the new 'you'

Ok since it's the new year i figured i'd design a new biz card for Dark Matter Design & Services. Da siap print kot...but i might have to reprint it again to change the address cos' Insyallah end of this month or next month i'll have a little office space for customers and clients who are still not too keen in virtual office businesses. (org da bagi kesenangan utk conduct semua online tapi kau nak turun gak nak jumpe jugak...lantak korang lah..). As always my hq will be within the klang valley ( i just can't stray away from where i grew up!). I will update you guys on the where abouts as soon as i'm confirmed to move in the premis.

Ade nampak mcm card kedai bunge tak? ahahahhaha~

Here are some logo designs i did for ppl that are also venturing into the business world on their own this year. I wish them all the luck that WE all need in the near future.

Logo-logo ni mule2 pakcik tu kata "tanak nama penuh..nak logo graphic.." so aku design la logo graphic..then tetibe lak dia kata "..nak pakai nama penuh lah cam best je.." Walaupun the nama logo nama penuh tu nampak senang tapi dia nak pilihnye sikit punye lama dia nak pilih..pastu tanye aku suke yg mana..then aku ckp "..la it's your logo you choose the 1 u like best.." but then he insist i'd choose for him sebab aku designer kan and dia kata dia tak pakar bab2 ni..then bile aku pilih yg mana aku rasa elok.. in the end dia pilih the 1 yg dia nak! LOL! Demmit nasib baik kau kenalan lama, kalau tak aku charge for consulation services..anyway.. i'm AM SO GREATFULL you finaly choosed the 1 u wanted..i do hope you're happy with your choice.

Logo's done for Arina Flux Trade and Services.

Logo's for Fine Media Sdn Bhd.

Ha pakcik yg ni Alhamdulillah takde banyak kerenah.. (kamu sgt sempoi bro!) aku bagi je dia, terus tau dia nak yg mana. But i personaly like the 1 with the crown...i designed it that way because this client originated from a comic publishing company...and that he pratically worships the joker...so that logo was done based on personal characteristics of the client. Tapi dia juga berjiwa rock dan nak nampak ganazzz sikit..so u guys buleh agak la dia pilih yg mana in the end..
Selesai ngan logo dia..design business card ngan letterhead pula..

Business card and letterhead design for Fine Media Sdn Bhd.

Good luck to both of you :)
